As a seasoned watch collector, it is pretty hard to impress me when it comes to watches and their various accessories. Not only did the dual head winder that Jason sent impress me, it literally took my breath away! As soon as you have the Rotolution product in your hands coming out of the box, you know you have something very, very special. The construction on their pieces is amazing. I had read reviews on the winders already and knew that they were good. But I just was not prepared for what I got!

In my case, I was able to take the two head cherry wood winder for a test drive. It is extremely solid and the high gloss finish on the winder really turns it into a piece of furniture that can and will look fantastic where ever you end up putting it. The first thing that really caught my eye was their auto-adjusting pillows and their Pillow Retention System (PRS). I am a collector of, primarily, large watches that are quite heavy...we are talking 44mm on the smaller side and a normal weight range of around 225 grams to over 300 grams. I can tell you that more than once, I have had some of my larger and heavier pieces fall out of a winder due to not being as secure as I would like them to be. The auto-adjusting pillows and the very unique Pillow Retention System virtually ensure that this will never happen with a Rotolution winder. This security and extra piece of mind is almost worth the cost of the winder itself!

The next unique thing that Rotolution has come up with is the ability to connect the winder to your PC via a USB cable and configure it! Using this software, you can activate or turn the power on to each of the watch heads as well as set the direction of the heads (clockwise, counter-clockwise or both). But, what is really slick is the fact that you can find the manufacturer recommended Turns Per Day (TPD) for your watch and program it to have it deliver those exact TPD for each watch winding head! You just cannot get any slicker than that! I found the setup to be quick and easy and the fact that I was able to do it proves that it is idiot proof! And all this information (plus real-time winder performance data) is shown to you via high intensity green LED displays, with each winder head having its own green LED display!

Lastly, there is the noise that the winder makes. Or, I should say that lack of noise! When they say that these winders run silent, they are not kidding! I bet that you could have a room full of these all powered up and running and if you were able to hear even the faintest of hums I would be surprised!

I could go on and on about how great the Rotolution winders are, but I think you get the idea. The bottom line is that if you are a serious collector of watches, then you need to really and seriously look at the Rotolution watch winders. You owe it to yourself and your watches to make the investment to protect and keep your watches in good running order. You cannot go wrong with the Rotolution winders and I guarantee you that you will not regret that decision. I could not recommend them more highly!
